Namibia

As vast as Namibia is, so too is the variety of experiences and adventures to be had when visiting. The biggest attraction for visitors is undoubtedly its scenic beauty and the vastness of its open skies. Horizons disappear into the future and the unpolluted night sky into the distant past. Driving through its landscapes is a humbling experience. And from the air, you can discover just how big, how empty and how spectacularly beautiful Namibia is.

The Namib Desert is the oldest desert in the world and stretches 1,200 kilometres, all along the country's coastline and beyond its borders into South Africa and Angola. Within it you will find the Fish River Canyon, the highest dune named Big Daddy, the quaint town of Swakopmund, the shipwreck-dotted Skeleton Coast, and much more.

Further inland lies Etosha National Park, a prime wildlife safari destination with enormous elephants, large prides of lion and both white and black rhino.

Best time to travel: Namibia is an all year destination.
